Our Visit/ Experience
So, this one is about the time we went to the Gujarat National Law University. We could tell the university is recently built, as soon as we saw it on our day of the visit, that is, 30th April’18. We were very excited to witness one of the best manipulators of the city. The campus was huge, with a beautiful nature’s touch to it. We were enthralled to see the facilities out there. There were three separate buildings/blocks- academic, administrative and the Guru Bhavan. We saw ‘Vitan’- the conference room, the big and fully stocked library, the sculpture gallery. Then, there was a multi-utility store and a flavorsome yet affordable canteen. Afterwards, they proudly showcased their first ever legal museum of India. It was multi-floored and for us, truly knowledge- enriching to see the artifacts of legal heritage being exhibited, unlike anywhere else. The Moot courtroom was also a very fascinating place to see. We saw some of the brightest students debating there and could tell they’re the future lawyers. The students were equally enthusiastic about sports there. We also met the faculty and were happy with the equal (almost) gender ratio. GNLU was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience for us.
