As we travelled through one of the greenest cities of India, Gandhinagar, by Ola Cabs, we were already dumbstruck by the natural beauty of the city. What could have now been more exciting and surprising than to visit one of the biggest and most popular college campuses in Gandhinagar? Covering around 30,000 sq. Mt. of land area, we were left totally amazed by the beauty of the lush green campus of NIFT, Gandhinagar.
And as we travelled further into the campus, one thing that held our whole attention towards it, was obviously the architectural beauty of the campus along with the technological facilities provided there.
Educational facilities provided
After taking a short trip of the campus, we decided to take our turn towards the educational quality provided. Well, nothing could have been better than an honest feedback from the students of the campus. So, we met a couple of students from different branches and years. It was really surprising to know that almost all of them are satisfied by the facilities and support provided by the administration and faculty staff there! Another thing which surprised us was the overall focus given on each student’s personality, which facilitates both the academic and personal growth of the students.
On-campus industrial exposure and extra-curricular activities
To get to know a little more about the facilities provided, we decided to meet some final year students. They helped us in getting a proper overview of the quality of exposure and opportunities given to the students there. As such, here’s an abstract of a talk with a student who said that, “we have exposure to industrial videos of big & medium level companies, every week. Apart from that, we have an 8-week industrial internship and also, the 6th semester involves entirely working in a company, as a part of our diplomatic project.
Apart from this, we have separate focused exposure, in terms of extracurricular activities, in the form of data and film club.”
Our Final overview
Overall, the facilities provided in NIFT are great, if one gets a chance for taking admission. It would really be a healthy, beautiful, and worthy experience for them, in terms of revolutionizing in both, educational and personal growth aspects. And as we departed from Gandhinagar, we all were literally amazed by the fact that we had no negative feedbacks in our whole visit!
