Our Visit/ Experience
The Karampura campus being recently built, it is very good in terms of the infrastructure. We reached there on 20th April and while roaming around the campus, we discovered that one part of the building is still under construction to accommodate more students in the next academic year. Among all the old, already established colleges present in Delhi, seeing a new college, based on a unique vision, still under-growth, was a good experience. To satiate our hunger, we went to the cafeteria which is a small but cute place with delicious, pocket-friendly food. There were some sittings outside the cafeteria, in the middle and around of a small garden too. We also explored a small canteen which was very reachable to the classrooms, which we thought to be a good idea. The campus was very clean and green. Newly constructed, multi-storied buildings could be seen behind the campus, and along with the campus being around the industrial area of Karampura, urban vibes were felt. Overall it’s not very big but a well-constructed campus.
The Delhi Sarai Rohilla and New Delhi railway stations are nearest. From there, cab or metro can be taken.
In the case of metro, it is 1.3 kms from the Kirti Nagar Metro Station (on the blue and green line of Delhi Metro), less than a kilometer away from the Moti Nagar metro station (on the blue line), and about 3 kms from the Inderlok Metro Station (on the red line). From Inderlok, e-rikshaws are easily available at rupees 10.
Both Moti Nagar and Karampura Terminal bus stands are the nearest. It is about a 5-7 minutes walk.
